ABOUT

From Old Time to Blues to all the sounds of American Roots music, Hermit Music Festival plays out on two stages in the sweet shade of Indian Creek Winery in Kuna, Idaho. Get set for a magical Labor Day weekend with friends and family at this ultra family-friendly festival. In our 9th year, and after a 2 year pandemic hiatus, there will be a gathering of family and friends, returning and new musical acts, workshops, and all the best an inclusive community could offer. There will be two days full of music, of course, but also kid centered events, vendors, food, beer, and wine! For special nights of jams and a gathering of old and new friends, plan on staying overnight to camp at the winery (limited spots available). Bring your friends and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

Directions

Please be advised when driving out that Ten Mile Road is under major construction.. Drive through Kuna City to avoid slow moving detours.

The Hermit Music Festival will be held at Indian Creek Winery near Kuna, Idaho. If you have a fancy GPS unit, you can set it for 1000 N McDermott, Kuna, ID 83634 and do whatever that charming voice tells you to do. For those of you who are more old school, there’s a map below and some driving directions.

From Boise take I-84 west to the Kuna/Meridian exit and follow Hwy 69 South for approximately 10 min. Turn right on Columbia and follow this until it crosses the tracks and go left on Greenhurst. Take an immediate right onto McDermott. Follow McDermott south for 3 miles until you see the winery on your left about 1/2 mile south of Deer Flat.

From Nampa take I I-84 east to the Garrity exit and head south. Turn left on Flamingo, at the light just past the shopping center. Take the first right on Happy Valley and go about 6.5 miles to Deer Flat. Turn left on Deer Flat and go two miles to McDermott and turn right. The winery will be on your left about 1/2 mile south of Deer Flat.

If you’re coming in from the south, you probably know this country better than we do. Take whatever roads seem best.
